Abstract

We have investigated the interaction of age, sex, and illumination level for the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 hue test, as a part of the development of a normal control group for another study. Seventy normal observers, 20 to 79 years of age, male and female, were tested monocularly at each of five illuminance levels (5.7, 18, 57, 180, and 1800 lux).
