Abstract

The use of lasers in photocoagulating disease pathologies in the eye continues to expand as ever more ocular disorders yield to this treatment modality. While non-invasive surgery by lasers has proven advantageous there remains significant room for improving the efficacy of lasers in ocular photosurgery.
