Stable and Dynamical Features of Raman Lasers

Abstract

Analytic analysis establishes bistable and unstable emission from a single mode Raman laser occurring over broad cavity tuning and close to the first lasting threshold. Period doubling routes to chaos prevail for both good and bad cavity conditions.
