Abstract
A wave equation for light propagation in nonlinear planar structures has solutions eingϕ (x), limited in x direction perpendicular to the interface, and propagating in the form of a wave along the interface in the direction z. These waves may be excited by light beams, which are incident to the interface from a linear interface at grazing angles /1/. Some properties of these waves are considered in /2,3/, namely, they are unstable with respect to the development of small-scale transverse perturbations.
