Quantum interference spin currents: Atoms, bulk semiconductors, and quantum wells

Abstract

Coherent control of spin currents from quantum interference of one- and two-photon pathways is investigated. We present calculations for angle-resolved spin-polarization of photoelectrons from atoms, bulk semiconductors and quantum wells including strain.
