Octave-spanning spectrum with 200 mW per comb tooth

Abstract

We demonstrate record power per comb tooth in an octave-spanning near-IR spectrum. Using dual-pump cascaded four-wave mixing in a custom photonic-crystal fiber we generate 75 comb lines (2.8 THz spacing) with an average of 200 mW per line.
