Abstract

Multiple quantum well (MQW) structures have shown relatively efficient (low-field) electrooptical modulation at extremely high speed1 and can be used in 2-D spatial light modulators with relatively high resolution. Experimental and theoretical studies of MQW-based SLMs are presented.
