Long-term stability of a portable integrated 1.3-µm external-cavity semiconductor laser with a narrow linewidth

Abstract

Using a glue technique, we have developed a portable integrated external-cavity single-mode semiconductor laser with a narrow linewidth.1 One significant advantage is that a single longitudinal mode of the laser can be obtained without mechanical adjustment.
