Abstract
Specific heat is an important physical parameter of matter, but its precise measurement requires great experimental skill. There are two reasons: (1) We have to measure the change of temperature precisely. (2) It is difficult to avoid (and compensate for) the unwanted heat transfer between the sample and its surroundings.
