Spectroscopy and structure of carbo-ions

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Recent development of high sensitivity high resolution infrared laser spectroscopy has led us to spectroscopic observations of ionic species that had not previously been studied in any spectral region. Using this method to study highly reactive carbo-ions such as CH3+, HCCH+, C2H3+, and C2 is discussed.
