Issues in pulsed laser interferometry and coherence control

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We review the interferometric and wavefront analyses techniques available for the pulsed laser beam. Then we compare these methods to the commercially available systems that are directed towards numeric continuous wave applications. Finally, we explain specific applications of precision interferometry to lasers and laser components.
