Incoherent light four-wave mixing for the measurement of reorientational relaxation of dye molecules

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

I present a new convenient optical phaseconjugation technique for measurement of ultrafast reorientational relaxation time (T) in the study of dye solutions. This new method uses temporally incoherent light instead of short pulses. This method is different from those appropriate to optical Kerr media.
