Performance Evaluation of a Ground-based Lidar System

Abstract

This paper describes the performance of a lidar system prototype applied to atmospheric sulfur dioxide assessment from oil-fired power plant emis sions. This work was aimed to test the behaviour under integral operation at field, in order to identify the trend of future development.
