Abstract
Some biaxial crystals have been shown to have good nonlinear qualities; for example, large effective nonlinear coefficient (such as KTiOPO4 and KNbO3), ultraviolet transparency (such as LiB3O5), large acceptance angle and temperature (such as KTP). A number of papers have presented the wide use of biaxial crystals in optical frequency conversion. Based on our previous work,1 the expressions for noncollinear phase matching conditions of some biaxial crystals are now presented and then numerically calculated for some biaxial crystals such as KTP and LBO.
