Hands-on optics cleaning demonstration

Abstract

The performance of an optical system can be greatly enhanced by the proper cleaning of its optical elements. A hands-on demonstration of several optics cleaning techniques will be presented. Attendees will be invited to particpate and learn these techniques. The methods to be shown will include drag wiping, underwater chalking, and vapor degreasing.
