Effect of the low-earth-orbit environment on coated polyvinylidene fluoride pyroelectric detectors

Abstract

An array of polyvinylidene fluoride, pyroelectric detectors with various selective absorber coatings was included in the Evaluation of Oxygen Interaction with Materials (EOIM-3) experiment which flew aboard the shuttle Atlantis in August, 1992.
