Fast Phase-shift Control Method for a High-speed Planar Lightwave Circuit Digital Holographic Microscope

Abstract

A new thermo-optical phase control method is proposed and demonstrated to realize a faster and more accurate four-step phase shift in a planar lightwave digital holographic microscope (PLC-DHM). The proposed phase-shift control method is applied to the PLC-DHM, and moving-image and color-moving-image imaging at 200 and 66.7 fps, respectively, are demonstrated.
