Tracking Error Signal Analysis for Pre-Grooved Organic Optical Recording Media

Abstract

Experimental measurements and theoretical computation presented in this paper indicate that for optimal tracking error signals organic based media require grooves that are narrower and deeper than those required for metallic based media.
