Abstract

Recently, SONY has announced mini disc as the next generation of audio discs, and there is much attention on the system[1]. Since the diameter of mini disc is small (64 mm) compared with that of compact disc(120 mm), the size of the player is reduced small enough for the shirts pocket. As soon as SONY’s first mini disc player appears in the market, there has been a race for further miniaturization of player among several companies.
