Development of Ultra-High Count Optical Fiber Cable using 16-fiber Ribbons

Abstract

We have developed 3200-fiber cable using 16-fiber ribbons which are easily divided into four 4-fiber ribbons. The developed 3200-fiber cable diameter is very small (44 mm) and we have obtained good performance in the field.
