An All-optical Signal Discriminator: Applications to 2.4 Gb/s All-optical Regeneration and 20 Gb/s Demultiplexing

Abstract

We confirmed complete all-optical regeneration based on a novel optical discriminator (ODSC) at the bitrate of 2.5 Gb/s. Furthermore, a 20 Gb/s demultiplexing is demonstrated using the ODSC.
