Abstract

Precise wavelength control of multiple-wavelength λ/4 shifted DFB laser diodes were demonstrated for use in wavelength devision multiplexing (WDM) networks. Wavelength standard deviation of 0.37nm over 2-inch wafer, and 0.2nm- wavelength spacing array with standard deviation of the lowest 0.07nm were realized.
