Abstract

Precise determination of strains in ZnO:LiNbO₃ proton-exchnaged optical waveguides by using x-ray double crystal symmetric and asymmetric diffraction method is reported in this paper. It is found that there are three-dimensional strains in waveguide layers and the variation of lattice constants of the crystal depends strongly on the waveguide orientation.
