Abstract

Composite fiber Sagnac loop filters are cascaded to demonstrate a high finesse transmission spectrum for an electro-optical wavelength-switching fiber ring laser. Stable single longitudinal mode operation is also achieved by employing Sagnac loop saturable absorber filter.
