Highly Survivable Software Defined Synergistic IP+Optical Transport Networks

Abstract

A hierarchically controlled IP+Optical multilayer Transport SDN architecture is proposed, which highlights flexible resource provisioning and dynamic cross-layer restorations. The proposals are also demonstrated via an implemented testbed prototype.
