Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated the suitability of the phase-shifted Mach-Zehnder interferometric device to support real-time sensing monitoring using an intensity interrogation scheme. The proposed sensor presents a sensitivity of 810 dB/RIU with a broadband light source.
