High Performance Microwave Photonic Downconversion in a Commercial InP Platform

Abstract

We demonstrate InP’s photonic integration promise for high performance microwave photonic applications through the realization and characterization of a monolithically integrated photonic downconverter achieving 104 dB∙Hz2/3 SFDR and near unity gain of -0.8 dB.
