Electro-optical phase-locked loop for hybrid integrated external cavity laser

Abstract

We implement an analog EO-PLL for a III/V-Si3N4 hybrid integrated ECL to generate a highly-linear FMCW signal over multiple wavelengths. The ranging resolution is improved from 5 m to 35 cm for a 100-m target.
