Real-Time 179.2Tb/s Transmission using Commercial 400Gb/s Transceivers over 350 km Multicore Fiber

Abstract

We firstly demonstrate the feasibility of 179.2 Tb/s transmissions over a 350 km 7-core fiber link while considering the splicing loss and link budget reservation for field deployment, using real-time 400Gb/s/carrier commercial transceivers.
