Rate-Flexible Coherent PON Up To 300 Gb/s Demonstrations with Low Complexity TDM Burst Design

Abstract

Two flexible-rate coherent PON architectures have been demonstrated, featuring a low complexity TDM burst DSP. A peak data rate of up to 300-Gb/s and transmission over 50-km link and 1×32 split ratio has been achieved.
