Waveguide Bragg Grating based Breath Sensing Chip

Abstract

A novel breath sensing chip based on waveguide Bragg grating (WBG) cascaded with a side-polished waveguide (SPW) was proposed and demonstrated. Both temperature and humidity can be monitored simultaneously during human breathing.
