Abstract

A measurement system has been developed for characterizing the reflectance of large DF laser mirrors. Measurements are made on both the large mirror and on small witness pieces coated in the same coating run. Precision reflectivity measurements are made on the witness piece and spectrophotometric measurements are made on both the witness and the large mirror. The reflectivity of the large mirror is determined from analysis of the combined data.
