Ray-Trace Assisted Wave Front Metrology for Large Wave Front Error Characterization

Abstract

Large dynamic or tunable optics generate transmitted wave fronts beyond interferometry limits. We show that combining wave front sensing and ray tracing makes possible precise characterization of such optics in single and double pass measurement configurations.
