Modeling and Characterization of Broadband VSWIR Diffraction Gratings on Convex Substrates

Abstract

We describe the numerical modelling and prototyping activities carried at AMOS of broadband, 400-2500 nm, diffraction gratings ruled on convex spherical substrates. The manufacturing and thorough characterization of representative grating samples demonstrate excellent agreement with the models and the achievement of Technology Readiness Level 6.
