Abstract
Microprocessor controlled coating plants gained more and more market shares during the past few years because they increase the yield of the coating processes and allow additional cost savings by running several machines by only one operator or by completing a run during the night. These cost savings are especially pronounced in the case of infrared coatings with runs of up to 8 hours.
