Chalcogenide thin films with large third order optical nonlinearities for photonic applications

Abstract

Thin Sb2Te3 films with large third order optical nonlinearities have been studied by means of the Z-scan technique using femtosecond laser pulses. Significant responses have been found for films having thicknesses of about 10 nm.
