Efficiency enhancement of polycrystalline silicon solar cells by a downshifting coating of silicon nanoparticles

Abstract

A novel method to increase polycrystalline silicon solar cells efficiency by adding downshifting layers of silicon nanoparticles. I-V curves, UV-Vis, DLS and PL characterizations are presented. Power conversion efficiency was improved up to 24.83%.
