Remote Sensing Using Solid-State Lasers, Progress and Projections

Abstract

Performance of two tunable lidar transmitters, one in the near-infrared and one in the mid-infrared, being developed by NASA Langley are reviewed. Current status and projections for performance parameters such as wavelength tuning range, energy per pulse, and efficiency will be given.
