Light Trapping Characterization of Branched Nanowire Structures for Photovoltaics

Abstract

Recent work in silicon (Si) branched nanowire (BNW) structures show the promise of enhanced light trapping for photovoltaic (PV) solar cells. Through three-dimensional full wave electromagnetic simulation, we explore how BNW structures can be optimized.
