Abstract
This paper addresses on ongoing material solutions for a deployable flyaway suite force protection system. This suite is a force multiplier for forces currently performing force protection missions. At the core of this is the Cerberus sensor tower, a rapidly deployed tower-mounted sensor suite for outward looking perimeter/border security and intrusion detection. Its open sensor architecture gives the user the flexibility to configure the sensor suite to the mission, terrain and threat. Integrated Force Protection Sensors as depicted by Cerberus offers the Joint DoD Services, Federal Homeland Security and Civil First Responders the capability to perform enhanced site security across the spectrum of missions.
