Abstract

Over the last 20 years a number of new procedures have been introduced to reduce myopia and astigmatism. These procedures fall into two categories, those involving surgery and those utilizing contact lenses.1,2 All of them attempt to flatten the curvature of the cornea in order to reduce its refractive power.
