Ultrafast Nonlinearities in InGaAsP Diode Laser Amplifiers

Abstract

Using femtosecond pulses at 1.5 µm we study ultrafast gain and loss nonlinearities in InGaAsP optical amplifiers. Sub-picosecond pump-probe dynamics are observed.
