Abstract

The photorefractive properties and applications of KNbO3 and KNbO3:Fe have been investigated for quite some time by Günter and co-workers [1]. Relatively little, however, is known about KNbO3:Mn, a new photorefractive material used recently in a nonreciprocal optical transmission device [2].
