Crystal Growth, Electrooptic and Photorefractive Properties of Iron Doped Barium Titanate

Abstract

It is well known that BaTiO3 is a particularly promising material for applications in optical data processing and phase conjugation using four wave mixing. Recently Klein and Schwartz [1] found that iron impurities, in "pure" samples are the most likely source of photorefractive effects.
