Optoelectronic Hybrid Multi-Stage Interconnection Network

Abstract

Two new approaches to modularize the multi-stage interconnection network and a new design concept for optoelectronic hybrid realization are presented. This concept is particularly appropriate for applications of self-routing switching networks and high-speed interconnections of processors.
