High numerical aperture metalens for generating sub-diffraction non-diffracting beams at violet

Abstract

We propose a meta-axicon with a high numerical aperture (NA) of 0.75 at the wavelength of 405 nm. We both numerically and experimentally demonstrate that our method can generate non-diffracting beams with sub-diffraction limited focusing.
