Ag-GaAs-Ag quantum nano-lenses system for plexcitonic interaction

Abstract

We propose plexcitonic system formed by multi-layered silver-gallium arsenide-silver (Ag-GaAs-Ag) quantum nano-lenses and study optical properties using finite difference time domain method. Plane wave expansion method reveals hybrid band-structure. Cavity defect support strongly confined mode.
