Separating isogyres and isochromates of a uniaxial crystal using Fourier fringe analysis

Abstract

Isogyre and isochromatic interference fringes of a uniaxial crystal in a conoscopic arrangement are inherently entangled. The separability of the fringes has shown theoretically using Jones calculus and experimentally realised using Fourier fringe analysis.
