Improved Sensitivity Long Period Grating for Refractive Index Modulated Sensing Applications

Abstract

The paper presents theoretical study for enhancement of sensitivity for long period grating based surrounding refractive index sensors. The sensitivity has been enhanced by the coating of high refractive index material than the cladding.
