Highly Tunable Visible-to-Telecom Single-Photon Frequency Conversion in a Nanomechanically Reconfigurable Si-Rich Si Nitride Waveguide

Abstract

We propose a nanomechanical waveguide to realize tunable visible-to-telecom single-photon frequency conversion. We numerically study the conversion efficiency and nonlinear effects, and identify the trade-off between device footprint and noise.
